Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 receiving rave reviews from both music bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her best-known songs. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano within her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to make music as a means of the sake of personal development, and not for the purpose of making money or for an interest. She began writing songs of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite writers. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mother said they might help others not to gain fame with her work, but instead help the people around them understand their importance and the ways they can affect the world. Piano was her first instrument at the age of six. She started writing music when she turned nine. Her family didn't hear about her music until she reached 14. Aurora did not have a set goal. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. Music is her favorite way to feel anything.
